    Hi again…

How do we know if our turrets are making part of our first line of defence in PvP battles and not only our characters? Or are our turrets automatically selected by the game to defend our base? And what about if I have, for instance, 2 Hephaestus and 2 Hydras??? Which of them will be defending our base?

    • avatar s_e_s_h ( Lieutenant General Lieutenant General Player's Rank 527 ) Admin

      It depends on several conditions!
      1. You have to build six turrets to increase defense rate up to 30% (5% per turret)
      2. You have to build the Radar to increase defense rate up to 50% (+20%)
      3. You have to turn on the Radar to increase defense up to 100% (x2)
Only in this case your base will always be defended by a Turret

Type of turret will be chosen randomly… If you have 3 Hephaestus and 3 Hydras – 50/50 chances…

  2. avatar HelloShitty ( Lieutenant Colonel Lieutenant Colonel Player's Rank 294 )

    1 – I only have 4 turrets
    2 – I have Radar built
3 – I don’t have it always on. Only sometimes

As I don’t meet all those conditions, is there any chance that my turrets are chosen to defend the base?

There is a big non-sense in the game in my opinion in PvP battles… How the hell we have an armor that has the special abillity to act as armored armor and our enemies can take us down with weaponry other than Acid or Energy and we can’t touch them in the same conditions! This is non-sense! The developers should come out with a solution!

    • avatar Гудвин / Goodwin ( Captain Captain Player's Rank 198 )

It’d be a big advantage. There is no pure PVP in the game.
Your opponent is controlled by computer and you have a freedom in fighting.
In fact, you have all chances to beat the opponent that has Maximuses and proto-armour and Acid cannon or Dominion MG, if you have only Spartan armour and Acid shotgun.

      • avatar HelloShitty ( Lieutenant Colonel Lieutenant Colonel Player's Rank 294 )

Yes, but if you try to take someone out that has Spartan (or any other armor that acts as armored) and with a Moloch MG fully upgraded (and maybe even if not fully upgraded), it’s almost impossible as he (the enemy) is able to inflict great damage to you and you can’t do the same even with Acid Shotgun. You just don’t have enough time to take him down!

Meaning that from the moment your game don’t give you enemies without Molochs, youwon’t be able to defeat them unless you have Acid Cannon or Dominion Shotgun maybe! You can have Moloch but is useless when attacking!

Sesh i have a question for you. Is it really a way to be protected by turrets 100% all the time?? I have 6 maximus and my radar turned on all the time, but when players attack me i can see that some times turrets are not protecting me, am i missing something?

    • avatar HelloShitty ( Lieutenant Colonel Lieutenant Colonel Player's Rank 294 )

I think that might be a bug in the game. Actually the fight for the attacker includes the turrets. It’s the log that you get that is buggy because it says that the defence only included you and your partners but actually the defence included turrets, commander and partners. It has already happen the same to me and I think it was Goodwin that told me what I’m telling you!

Hi, Firstly kudos on the website- awesome & superb effort.

Now when i start my PvP fights I am seeing my opponent health levels are way higher than the health information shown in the details page. For ex. – If the details shows a player with a normal armour health of 700 & partners Jafar – 200; frisky – 450 then in the actual PvP fight the health bar shows around – Player – 4000+, Jafar – 800+ & frisky – 1200+ (Picture attached)- is that correct??

    Thanks,

Hi, hoping to hear some opinions on the opponent health levels during PvP battles – my earlier post.

      Someone please respond.

      Thanks,

Take some screens of the enemy before the fight and during the fight! Maybe we can spot something that you’ve might missed!

I’ve been playing for a while now and PvP Arcipelago doesn’t make any sense to me…
I constantly get attacked (only) by players that are 4+ levels higher than myself but usually it’s like 10+ levels.
The radar, on or off isn’t helping a bit.

On the other side, I only spot enemies that are no less than 4+ levels higher than myself as possible targets.
Why should I risk attack suck enemies even if exposing a worthy loot (which it’s never the case)?

    It doesn’t make any sense.

  7. avatar adhox ( Corporal Corporal Player's Rank 11 )

My situation is about the same.

But as far as I have noticed, the level is not the only criteria for the PvP arena. On my own Map screen (Lvl 20)- I get players from Lvls 12 to 40+. My guess is that this is depends on your PvP ranking/ rating +-15 ranks or so.

    Cheers,

Hey adhox, thanks for commenting. I suspect it’s mainly due to rating… I only see enemies of L14+ in range of my chopper and when I decided to waste some datadisk for intelligence, those enemies proved to be too strong a challenge, not worth the loot… Before raising to L10 myself, I could afford a couple of raids… Once in a while. With lesser equipement and with the starting chopper. Why did I waste resources for upgrading the helicopter when now, only impossible enemies show up on my radar?! It’s nonsense.

    Omg it’s too Nice !!!!!

    Hi Omero,

I agree it is definitely the PvP rating but also pay attention to your global ranking. I am around 2400 rating and had reached 14 Global rank once. At that stage I literally couldn’t win a PvP fight, everyone had really super strong turrents or advanced partners/ weapons. Then I stopped raiding bases except for gems and switched off my radar for the last couple of days(lets people attack me). Now my ranking has come down a bit and players I raid for gems I am able to beat 50-60% of the time. I am content to hang around 2400 rating and accumulate gems for a bit..

My analysis is that the game basically hosts player who start playing in a particular time interval on one server- some advance fast and some slow but they all are in the one world. You will get to fight only players within a certain segment of your PvP rating ladder, irrespective of the actual game level. So for example if you are ranked 50 on the global scale- you will only see players between 50+x and 50-x.

I love pvp! I’m awesome at that 😉

I dismantled my acid pistol thinking it was not used in the game only to find out that some enemies can only be defeat by an acid ending. Is there a way around this?

    • avatar deepspace ( Private First Class Private First Class Player's Rank 9 )

You wont required it in later stages once you get energy weapon. For that ime you probably need to use grenades.

      • avatar Nam ( Private Private Player's Rank 2 )

I have tried acid grenades they don’t work on enemies like the green n purple bug like creature. I trying beat the boss on the crystallite deposit. Anything else I can try?

    • avatar SunSidTDM ( Lieutenant-Commander Lieutenant-Commander Player's Rank 166 )

The acid grenades do 100% damage on unarmored targets and 130% damage to armored target, “green n purple bug like creature” like you said (called bombers) are unarmored targets so there won’t be the 30% bonus damage on them.

  12. avatar Luke64 ( Private Private Player's Rank 4 )

I have noticed on several occasions that g3 grenades do not have the same damage yield/effect on the targets. Several times a Terminator or Matriochka have resisted much better than usual, getting only a mere 1500 health damage, though I am positive my grenades were right on target.

  13. avatar rallan ( Private Private Player's Rank 3 )

    hey fellow commanders,
just upgrade all your weapons and once you’ve got them, pvp is more fun and about the defence, just take a look at your ranking and you will find out that other players your going to attack were the same rank that you have… EXODUS is already updated and lets enjoy the game.
il just see you ALL in PVP.

  14. avatar Gabriel ( Private Private Player's Rank 2 )

I am at level 66 & pvp rank is over 16500 but still I had an opponent having only level 7 with over 16000 rank . How is that even possible?

    • avatar Шепард ( General General Player's Rank 584 ) Moderator

It is not possible, he used some of cheat codes, idk, i’ve seen a man who has 81 million 622 thousands and 900 points of rate. And he is on 45 lvl

  15. avatar Piku ( Private Private Player's Rank 1 )

I’m at world ranking 2, hurrah
