The Enhanced Optics is one of your combat features among other Tactical Technologies in the Evolution: Battle for Utopia game.

Description

The Enhanced Optics ability increases the extra damage caused by your pistol’s Aimed Shot.

Upgrades

Enhanced Optics upgrades, as other technologies upgrades, can be unlocked at the Tactics and Strategy section at your Research Center.

After unlocking, Enhanced Optics needs to be researched. The cost of research can be reduced by completing cumulative requirements.

Currently level 4 of the Enhanced Optics technology is the highest level you can obtain.

Enhanced Optics Damage Explained

Starting with the regular pistol’s damage, the Aimed Shot adds an additional eight times damage. The Enhanced Optics ability increases this additional damage by its leveled multiplier.

The formula: Aimed Shot Damage = Damage + (Damage * 8) + ( (Damage * 8) * (Enhanced Optics Multiplier) )

Here is a sample calculation of the minimum aimed shot damage, using the fully upgraded Stormbreaker Pistol (with a damage of 24):

With no Enhanced Optics: 24 + (24 * 8) = 216

With Level 1 Enhanced Optics (5% multiplier): 24 + (24 * 8) + (24 * 8) * 0.05 = 226

With Level 4 Enhanced Optics (20% multiplier): 24 + (24 * 8) + (24 * 8) * 0.2 = 254
