How is it possible that in Level 30, the video poster already has that armor that I suppose to be Spartan Armor???
Yes – this is a Spartan Armor.
It’s possible if you will not clear some extra side story locations…
I think that it’s not possible to defeat Black Hydras or even Hydras with the previous armor… Not even with the 50% medpacks and G3 frag grenades! I’ve tried and I was defeated several times!
Can’t speak for black hydra turrets (too scared to try yet), but the hydra turrets are manageable below level 35 if you have the prometheus armor and spider (trained to max level for 100 dmg).
I use the Pegasus (fully upgraded) pistol, and the juggernaut machine gun (fully upgraded).
Beginning of battle, throw the G3, fire one shot with the Pegasus then reload to get damage bonus and take cover while spider attacks. After the first attack from the hydra, use a U2 med pack. Then use a G2 as soon as it will let you, and same with your aimed shot. Turret should be done by then. Kill the rest using a combination of juggernaut and Pegasus. I usually use the juggernaut to take out 2 of the 3 and Pegasus for the last remaining guy. Usually end these battles having taken less than 3000 damage.
Well, I can take the Hydra down with only G2 frags, U-2 medpacks and Acid Pistol fully upgraded but after that I usually get killed by some Roxy or Commander because I’m still weak from Hydra fight and can’t handle Commander or Roxy strikes. Need to practice a bit more.
And I’m only at level 33 so no Pegasus. I’m using Dragon Pistol fully upgraded and Storm AR also fully upgraded. Now I also have Acid Pistol fully upgraded.
I just got to the 2000 pvp points, by the way.
Try to use stasis on commandor.
Also I can give a tip to wait the medpack when Hydra is almost dead. It has a very short shot at the end.
Stasis is that buton with a “doll body” and rings around it, right? That is at the bottom left corner of the selected rifle, right? Sometimes I get confused about what is the stasis shot and the stasis shield!
I might have another issue that is not knowing the best timing to use medpacks. Should I use them as soon has I can or should I use them every time I can even if I’m still OK with “health”? I think I’m using medpacks as soon has I can (unless I’m still above ~70% of health), but even like this, most of the times I get killed by characters and not turrets.
Maybe later today Ill make a video trying to take down an Hydra turret and upload it somewhere so that you guys can see what am I doing wrong and give me more advices!
Yes, I mean stasis shot, the ability of your AR.
Stasis shield activates automatically once along the battle when you have to be die )
When Hydra is almost dead it takes too much time for reload and too short burst. You can use the situation to restore HP with medpack, and wait the Aimed shot and Stasis shot readyness.
Then you can use stasis shot for the commandor team and use your Storm AR. When commandor is red, use your Aimed shot to stop his attack.

Alright guide, I would not recommend using it, the waste of the g-2 and u-2 grenades/health packs, better use of acid shotgun resorce wise, if you have the acid shotgun of course lol
